Dawn is an expert in the field of Business Development. With more than 20 years experience in management and a diverse and integrated background that includes advising, consulting and partnering, she has helped numerous businesses increase profits and sustain high-profit expansion. Among Dawn’s specialties are growing businesses by enhancing the customer experience, empowering staff to continually improve productivity, service quality and financial results, and helping investment partners and visionaries operationalize and execute new business concepts. Before forming Dare to Dream, Dawn served as a temporary Chief Operating Officer for a world-renowned international fine arts gallery, during which time she helped secure funding, build unique marketing campaigns to tap into undeveloped customer niches, and install proper infrastructure for sustained growth. She has also built and sold two privately-held businesses, and designed and implemented customized communications programs. Dawn currently serves in an advisory capacity to several local businesses in the Monterey, California area. She also actively supports local arts and humanities.

Nina is a business and social entrepreneur. Prior to joining Dare to Dream Fund, she was the President & CEO of JesMag Development, a real estate development company dedicated to responsible & sustainable development. Her developments included the award-winning The Mercer in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nina also coordinated leadership development programs at ChoiceCenter Worldwide in Las Vegas, where she was responsible for executing and developing curriculum for high-performance leadership programs. Prior to founding JesMag, Nina spent seven years in investment banking at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and Banc of America Securities, where she closed over $3 billion worth of transactions. Nina graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics in 2000 from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Nina serves on the Board of the Community Partnership for Youth.

Lorne H. Braddock is a native of Los Angeles , California. Prior retiring in 2006, Lorne held various management positions with AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Tandem Computers, 3Com and Cisco Systems, Inc. At Cisco Systems, Inc. Lorne spent the last eleven years of his career focused on business unit development, acquisition assimilation and management mentoring. Since retiring, he has devoted his time to community outreach through Shoreline Church and he serves on the Advisor Board of Hands of Hope International and Dare to Dream Fund. Lorne has an AA, BS and MS degrees in Organizational Behavior. He and his wife Sandra have been married for 44 years and they have resided in Monterey , California since 1998. Lorne and Sandra have two children and three grand-children.

Rikhil Patel is a 15-year old junior at The York School and resident of Corral de Tierra, California. He lives with his mother, Bina, father Sam, and brother, Rishay. Prior to The York School, he attended Santa Catalina Lower School and developed a love of sports from a very early age. A lot of what he has learned about leadership has been developed through sports, particularly basketball, lacross, tennis and golf. When he is not playing sports, Rikhil can be found hanging out with his friends at the beach or at the movies, or at home surfing the web or playing pool. Rikhil has also earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts, an honor reserved only for the very best Scouts. At school, his favorite subjects are math and languages. Rikhil plans to study business and economics and is interested in pursuing a career in investment banking.
